Commercial Insurance Sales Representative | Mark Leal State Farm Agency

Build your commercial insurance career with an agency that values relationships, performance, and customer care. Mark Leal State Farm Agency is seeking an experienced sales professional to help business owners protect what they’ve worked hard to build.

As part of our team, you’ll identify coverage needs, explain insurance options, and develop lasting relationships with local businesses. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, takes initiative, and is motivated to grow a commercial book of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and consistent follow-up.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business owners.
  • Assess business risks and recommend appropriate commercial insurance coverage.
  • Prepare and present proposals that clearly explain coverage options and value.
  • Conduct policy reviews and assist with renewals, policy changes, and claims-related questions.
  • Identify additional insurance needs and collaborate with the team to support customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and manage follow-up activities.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least three years of business or commercial insurance sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop leads, close sales, and maintain customer relationships.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • A proactive, coachable approach and commitment to excellent customer service.
This position is with Mark Leal, an independent State Farm agent, rather than State Farm Insurance Companies.

Compensation $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
